SMALL GROUP PERSONAL TRAINING SESSIONS ARE RUN AT PUREGYM YORK ONLY

Not to be confused with fitness classes, small group personal training is an extension of one to one personal training to a smaller group of people. You will work together with other like-minded participants all working toward similar goals. 

What are some of the benefits of a small group personal training?

  • Affordability - training in small groups is a more affordable way to train than one to one personal training without losing most of the benefits
  • Increased frequency - as small group training is a fraction of the cost of one to one training, you may be in a position to train multiple times per week
  • Increased accountability - knowing that your group is waiting to work out with you increases the likelihood of sticking with it 
  • Healthy competition and comradery - working in a group of like-minded people pushes you to work harder and can help achieve results faster
  • Less pressure and more enjoyment - one to one training can feel like a daunting prospect. Working in a small group can relieve this pressure and allow you to enjoy yourself more
  • More specific training - the training will be more specific to you and your goals than a large scale fitness class would be so you'll receive more attention from the trainer

  • A maximum of 6 participants per session
  • A varied and progressive training programme for you to use outside of group sessions
  • Nutritional advice and guidance where appropriate
  • Support with nutritional tracking where appropriate
  • Support by e-mail, text or phone outside of your session time
  • Online session booking giving you the ability to choose your own time slots each week
